From empowering youth to promoting health and global awareness, our initiatives reflect our shared commitment to friendship and purposeful service.

Services To Youth

Linking Youth to Opportunity and Achievement

We believe in nurturing the next generation of leaders by investing in education and opportunity. Our youth-focused programs provide resources, guidance, and encouragement to help students reach their fullest potential.

 

Key Programs:

  • Annual Scholarship Program – Awarding scholarships to outstanding students within our service area to support their educational goals.​

  • Community Partnerships – Supporting local organizations like Maidee Smith Early Care and Learning Center in LaGrange, GA, through hands-on service and enrichment activities.

  • Links Love HBCU – Providing educational and scholarship support to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The Arts

Connecting Hearts and Minds Through Art

The arts inspire creativity, strengthen culture, and build community. Through this facet, we bring meaningful artistic experiences to youth and families while celebrating cultural expression and heritage.

  • Youth Arts Workshops – Offering art classes and hands-on creative opportunities for children to explore and express their talents.

  • Cultural Enrichment Experiences – Exposing youth to symphonies, galleries, and stage performances to broaden their appreciation of the arts.

  • Community Collaborations – Partnering with local arts organizations to promote creativity and cultural engagement throughout our region.

National Trends & Services

Building Stronger Communities Together

Through education and advocacy, we champion equity, civic engagement, and social awareness to strengthen our communities and empower families.

Key Programs:

  • Advocating for Voter Rights – Encouraging civic participation through initiatives like Link Up the Vote, voter education events, and community engagement.

  • Links Day at the Capitol – Participating in this annual Southern Area initiative to engage with lawmakers and advocate for policies that support and uplift our communities.

Creating Global Connections for Change

Our international programs build bridges through education and service, connecting our local impact to communities around the world.

  • STEM Across the Commonwealth – Partnering with Kathigiri Junior Secondary School in Kenya to support STEM education and cultural exchange.

  • Global Literacy Initiatives – Providing books and learning materials to schools in Africa to promote literacy and educational growth.

Health & Human Services

Promoting Healthy Living for All

We are passionate about promoting healthy living and improving quality of life for individuals and families across our communities. Through education, outreach, and collaboration, we focus on prevention, awareness, and access to care.

Key Programs:

  • Links in Pink – Raising awareness about breast cancer through community education, screenings, and health events that encourage early detection and prevention.

  • Heart2Heart Workshops – Promoting heart health through interactive workshops and wellness activities focused on nutrition, fitness, and stress management.

  • Black K.A.R.E. Initiative – Increasing awareness of chronic kidney disease in Black communities and providing information on risk factors, prevention, and treatment.

  • Community Health Fairs – Offering free health screenings, resources, and education to help families stay informed and healthy.
